I accidently hit the “Newsletter” button in the WordPress editor not realizing that it would immediately shoot off the article to all my subscribers. Other than this one time explaining myself, I am assuring you it will never happen again. Sheesh, I wish that would have come with a little “are you sure(?) you want to spam all your subscribers at 7:49am super conveniently?”, press <ENTER> for YES.

I’m now self conscious after reading Johnbritto Kurusumuthus’ article on Rise and Inspire about using the prepositions “on”, “at”, and “in” properly lol.
Which brings up another fault in my personality, doing things without the proper understanding of the consequences….
I had no idea what was going to happen when I pushed that button. I didn’t do any research, nothing. I saw the button and literally just pushed it to see what would happen. I’ve been a WordPress administrator for quite some time and that’s one feature I had never used, till now. I mean it is kind of self explanatory but the push button and it automatically sending out the post (I was actually only 75% through an article and I’m still not even sure if it had newsletter’d THAT lol) to all subscribers, 75 in my case. Unless I’m misremembering the order of events I’m sure it’s probably a configurable ‘feature’ a quick visit to settings can fix.
