Imagine this: You’ve got Quentin Tarantino directing and his eye for visuals, then the Coen Brothers for set composition, a heaping of Scott Pilgrim versus the World, a dab of Snatch, and finally to top it all off a scoop of the 80’s hit Heavy Metal. There’s even some Kung-Fu action! What have you got? You got “House of the Unholy.” Now none of these heavyweights actually have anything to do with the following video but the influence is definitely there.

This is one of my favorite YouTube videos. I discovered it several years ago and forgot about it until it showed up in my YouTube feed the other day. It’s a really well directed and it’s oh so beautifully filmed.

I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to repost, or embed YouTube videos’, but it’s turns out if it’s embedded, it’s allowed by both YouTube terms of service and by convention the content creator. It’s explicitly allowed by YouTube and written into the user agreement, however I’m not sure if content creators know this. I wrote an article last year about a YouTuber who I was enjoying content from and embedded one of their videos. Then a few weeks later I went to the article to randomly check it out and received a message that the user had disallowed the embedding of content. I thought this was a YouTube thing so I stopped embedding videos’ only to discover that the content creator him or her self can actually disallow people from embedding their content. You would think a new up and coming content creator would want as much exposure as possible but this particular one did not.

Anyways, back to the video I was talking about above.

Man, isn’t that a blast? Beautiful soundtrack, costumes, camera work and a beautiful but deadly evil bitch. I got a kick out of the Kung-Fu virtual joystick sorcerers and was really impressed. It’s so polished and even the acting is great.

Anyways, just wanted to share something I enjoyed.

Leave a comment please and tell me what you think. I try to only pick out things that stand out, to me anyways. If you think it’s garbage, I want to know that too. I realize my tastes aren’t everyone’s but I do think this is nice eye candy. And that heart. I swear it’s real. I mean not human real (I hope), but realistic looking enough to be donated by a dead cow real.

Thanks for your time.
